    Detailed Product Description

    What standard does mini host do for European CE certification

    The ce-red instruction is required if it is a mini host with WIFI module

    The wireless products exported to Europe and America need the CE certification of the European Union. The following is a brief introduction of this certification.

    CE certification in the eu:

    Wireless products are exported to the eu is now need to do CE - RED certification mandatory, on May 14, 2014, the eu introduced new radio equipment directive RadioEquipmentDirective (RED) to replace the original radio and telecommunications terminal equipment

    (R&TTE) directive.

    The official effective date of RED directive is June 12, 2014, and the implementation date of member states is June 12, 2016. On May 14, 2014, eu introduced new radio equipment directive RadioEquipmentDirective (RED)

    Instead of the original radio and telecommunications terminal equipment (R&TTE) command. The formal effective date of RE directive is June 12, 2014, and the implementation date of member states is June 12, 2016.

    RED product certification scope

    1. Short-distance wireless remote control products (SRD), such as remote control toy cars, remote alarm system, remote doorbell, remote switch, remote mouse, keyboard, etc.

    2. Professional radio remote control products (PMR), such as professional wireless walkie-talkies, wireless microphones, etc.

    CTO, CT1, CT1+...

    4. ISDN (digital telephone products)

    5. DECT (enhanced digital radiotelephone)

    6. GSM and CDMA test of mobile phones

    7. Bluetooth products: bluetooth headset.

    8. Induction data transmission equipment with working frequency <9 kHz.

    9. Wireless broadcasting receiver equipment

    The major differences between the new wireless device directive (RED) and the old R&TTE directive are:

    1. RED products only include wireless communication and wireless identification equipment (such as RFID, radar, mobile detection, etc.). Radio frequency devices not used for communication or identification will be in the control of electromagnetic compatibility EMC instructions and low voltage LVD instructions;

    2. The wire communication terminal equipment (TTE) has been removed, so the RED command is only used for wireless products;

    3. The wireless broadcasting receiver is now included in the RED instruction (previously covered in electromagnetic compatibility EMC instruction and low voltage LVD instruction);

    4. The lower limit of the command coverage frequency has been removed (the control frequency of R&TTE before was 9 kHz), while the upper limit is still 3,000 GHz;

    5. The notice of agency evaluation opinion has been replaced by "type inspection certificate";

    6. The manufacturer can only use the CE mark (full quality assurance -- type H) with the public notice body number after the quality system has been evaluated by the public notice body;

    7. The requirement that the second class equipment should be notified to national spectrum agencies is no longer needed;

    8. The identification (warning number) of type ii equipment is no longer needed, but the warning that is restricted in some countries still needs to appear on the product packaging;

    9. The CE mark is no longer required in the user manual, but the frequency band and transmitting power of radio frequency must be indicated in the manual;

    10. The packages used for personal assessment are no longer controlled (i.e. RED certification is not required);

    11. The new instruction requires the use of unified charger;

    12. The address and contact information of the manufacturer and the importer must appear on the device, and when the device is too small, it can appear in the user manual.

    RED test project

    1. Electromagnetic compatibility test (EMC test)

    2. Safety test LVD (this test is also required for the RF product input of battery in the new instruction)

    3. Conduct radio communication equipment test (RF test) according to European ETSI standards

    4. Notification of the permitted spectrum in Europe

    5. CTR(TBR) test

    6. Electrical safety and health protection test (SAR assessment)

    The information RED needs to provide

    1. User manual

    2. Circuit schematic diagram

    3. Block Diagram

    4. PCB LAYOUT

    5. Circuit location map (PCB placement)

    6. Operation description (explanation of each other's block diagram)

    7. Component LIST (BOM LIST)

    8. The label (tag)

    9. Antenna specification (or antenna gain diagram)

    10. Charger LVD report

    11. Fixed-frequency software (also known as fixed-frequency program), which enables transmission modules to be continuously transmitted at a certain frequency point, must be provided by BT and WIFI generally
