What is the ukca logo?
Ukca (UK conformity assessment) mark is a new UK market access mark that must be pasted on products to enter the UK market (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most of the original need to use CE mark products.
Ukca logo will not be recognized in EU market. All products that originally require the use of CE mark still need to use CE mark when they are sold to the EU market.

When will the ukca logo take effect?
Although the UK government has confirmed that the ukca mark will come into effect on January 1, 2021, as long as the use of the CE mark is based on the relevant EU regulations consistent with the UK regulations, the CE mark will continue to be recognized until the end of 2021. However, from 2022, the ukca logo will be the only entry mark for products to enter the UK market.
The CE mark will continue to be recognized for products entering the market of 27 EU countries.
What products does the ukca logo apply to?
At present, most of the products covered by CE mark regulations and directives will also belong to the products covered by ukca mark. Here you can learn about the UK Government: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/using-the-ukca-mark-from-1-january-2021
How to prepare for the ukca logo?
You can take relevant measures based on your own business and future market access requirements to prepare for ukca logo.
If your product needs a third-party compliance assessment service provided by the notification agency, you need to verify whether they can provide services related to the ukca logo. Only authorized organizations marked by ukca can provide such services. We can cooperate with you who want to apply for ukca logo at any time.
How to deal with CE mark?
If your product requires a third-party conformity assessment service provided by an notified body, and if such service was previously performed by a UK notified body, your CE mark will no longer be valid without further agreement between the UK and the EU.
Therefore, in order to maintain the validity of your CE mark, you need to cooperate with those notified bodies registered in 27 EU Member States as soon as possible to maintain the validity of your CE mark. Only then can your CE mark continue to be recognized in the EU, and the CE mark will be accepted in the UK market for the time being until 2021.
